*HUGE HUGE HUGE SPOILER WARNING!!!!* okay, i've just been to see Transformers: revenge of the fallen, and i have to say, i was impressed, its not a bad movie, but at the same time its not extraordinarily good either, there were some pretty funny bits, and for some reason, there's a lot of vulgar language and sexual humor.


now, for the good, the bad, and the ridiculous, first off, at the theater i went to they gave away "movie adaptation" comic books to the first 100 people who saw that movie, my problem with this is the comic got some of the scenes wrong, not to mention they got some of the lines wrong in the comic.


here's another problem i had, if your like me (big Transformers fan and all) you might have went out and bought some of the new Transformers toys, what disappointed me was the fact that they MADE these toys, then DIDN'T use the characters in the movie, such as "Breakaway" i would have LOVED to see him on screen, unfortunately, they left him out. also if you got "Rampage" (like i did) expecting to see him on screen, you might be disappointed, as according to the movie he's a push-over (the battle between him and bumblebee only lasts like, three or four minutes, not to mention you only see his "jackhammer" mode.


what else....oh! yes, also, i felt they over did "Jetfire" a bit as he's constantly coughing and sputtering, like, i get the idea he's supposed to be an old fart, but could i not have that rammed down my throat every two seconds he's in the movie?


aaaaand....what else....oh yes, now the good, okay the movie is really pretty, i mean, it looks really good, maybe even a little better that the 2007 movie.



oh wait, back to the bad, okay, HOW IN THE NAME OF THE HOLY GHOST can they have "Mudflap" and "Skids" (the new "twins"....yeah, i'm heart broken too) but they couldn't just bring "Sideswipe" and "Sunstreaker" back? its like "oh no we can't use ALL the original Transformers that'd give the fans too much hope" i mean c'mon! why make up new characters? why not have all (or most of) the original characters? i mean you have "Megatron" and "Starscream" but other than that they don't use any original Decepticons (i know, i know, there are a FEW acceptions)



also, how can "Skids" and "Mudflap" transform into different halves of a icecream truck? i mean i know some Transformers can combine in robot mode (with the new "Devastator" all the Transformers that merge to create him go through some level of transformation)



anyway, i didn't hate the movie, but i didn't love it, oh, also, i thought "Soundwave" didn't get enough screen time, anyway, i guess thats it, bye for now.
